The month of July has a major theme of overcoming obstacles and past setbacks. There is a phase of life we are completing this month and because of this, a part of our lives is transforming. Something is turning around for us. 

Think about an area of your life where it has been a struggle and you’ve been putting in the work to make a change but it’s just taken so long. Perhaps something was lost or stolen from you. This month, the circumstances change and you are finally given what you’ve been needing to move forward. 

With this breakthrough, you are now able to live more independently and plan for the future. This could literally be related to money because all of the tarot cards coming out are in the suit of pentacles. 

We will be required to clear out and clean up anything that is directly harming or hindering our situation. This means facing and dealing with any fears, worries, or pests that may show themselves as a problem this month. Notice when something stands in your way and address the issue. You are capable of removing obstacles so that you can move forward with your plans. It may take some extra focus, determination, and patience. 

The idea of eliminating pests can also spread into the realm of our relationships this month. It will be wise to pay attention to how people behave at this time and take note of anything that seems like someone may not have the best intentions for you. Trust your intuition and gut feelings. 

Luckily, there is also potential to link up with kindred spirits this month. It could be that common experiences with troublesome people bring together those who do mean well for each other. Focus on the people who recognize your value, worth, and friendship. Do your best to make peace with the feelings around relationships that haven’t worked out. 

Emotions may be a bit challenging this month as the first card I pulled is telling us to let out a good cry if we feel the need to. What it is really saying though, is to release anything that needs to be let go of. We especially need to do this because the universe wants to give us something great this month! It first needs us to make room for this gift. 

At some point, we will be feeling like we are fighting and striving to get something done and it can feel like everything is going against us (Mercury retrograde vibes). 

It is at this moment when you need to take a step back and take a break. Divine timing is at play. As much as we want to push to get something moving, it may just not be time for it yet. Surrender for the moment and do something else. 

It’s when we decide to relax, or move our bodies in a healthy way, or even have some fun that things will start to flow again. Consider taking on a fun side quest that has to do with baking or cooking. This will benefit your mental health. Eat things that nourish your body this month. 

Trust that everything will work out and the universe has a gift for you! Allow your blessings to arrive to you. 

There is a great opportunity to delve into shadow work this month. Look at your own shadow self and what needs to transform from within. Don’t be afraid to go deep and uncover hidden truths about yourself. There is treasure in the darkness.

 Speaking of shadows, the new moon is also being pointed out in the cards. Use the new moon to set intentions for what kind of life you want to be living. If you’re looking for some kind of a fresh start in life, it will help greatly to visualize what that looks like for you. Dream big! 

Visualization and day dreaming are strengths for us in July. Refer back to a vision board or make a new one. Meditate on what you wish to manifest. 

Much of what was addressed for relationships in the overall themes for this month still applies. Be on the lookout for shady behavior and trust your intuition when it comes to the people around you. 

One scenario may be that someone from the past tries to reconnect with you. This makes sense because the majority of this July is under the influence of Mercury retrograde. Use your disernment in this kind of situation. This person may not be very serious about you. 

Another scenario could be that someone is being deceptive and has ulterior motives. They could be creating drama somehow. Or it could be that something very small happens and it sets someone off. This person may be mentally unstable and showing their true colors. 

Either way it goes, it’s like there is an alarm that goes off at some point, calling your attention to someone. Strange events may not be random. 

Teaming up with the good people in your life to take some kind of action may be a good idea. Advice for us is to know that we are ultimatley protected and we will be blessed in the end.  

I think it is in this area of our lives that we are having our blessing and breakthrough this month. Especially if in the recent past you have felt lack of focus or direction in your job or work. If there’s been some kind of a blockage or obstacle in this area, you are about to overcome it. 

We will be feeling more confident in our skills and abilities. We will have the resources we need. There may still be some struggle with focus this month because our imaginations want to run wild. Try to use this to your advantage to come up with new ideas or ways of working. 

If your work requires or benefits from creativity and use of emotions then this is great month for you and your progress. Do be aware that Mercury retrograde may cause communication issues between you and your clients or coworkers. So double check things and be extra clear with people this month. Set reminders for yourself and others when needed. 

This unexpected happening may or may not be something that you actually become aware of. Someone who wanted to inflict some kind of harm or even to  hex you will be incredibly unsucessful. 

Your psychic protections are up and will completely deflect this ill will. The harm will be sent back to the perpetrator. You may or may not end up hearing about their “bad luck”. However, we are being guided to not focus or dwell on who this is and why they may have done it in the first place. 

Be very intentional about where you put your energy. It’s much better to focus on you and what you want to create in your life. Give your appreciation and gratitude to the higher powers for keeping you protected and provided for. When you do this, you will prosper and flourish and the opposisiton will naturally meet their downfall.  

So much of our ability to create and be creative depends on the state of our minds. This month we’re being called to examine any old wounds surrounding our creative expression and work through them. Was there a time when you were not supported creatively? Is that experience holding you back now? 

Just like in the realm of our spirituality, we are being called to visualize when it comes to our creativity. Visualize what you want your future to look like when it comes to creations you want to make and what kind of lifestyle that entails. 

What kind of person does this future require you to be? What kind of difficulties will this future you have when you get the success you want? Don’t let it cause hesitation in you, just imagine how you should work through those issues. This will trick your subconscious mind into knowing you are ready for this future. 

When we become better at mastering our mind, our creativity can flow feely and unhindered.
