Overall Themes

After pulling cards for the collective, this month feels like a very important one. We seem to be in a state of transformation and rebirth which can feel uncomfortable in this stage. Many times in life, it is the feeling of being under pressure that forces us to make a change that we’ve been needing for sometime. That’s how I would describe the energy for this October.
Another large theme for this month is one of healing and creation. It is apparent that something new is making its way into our lives and it is our job to allow it. This could very well be the creation of healing ourselves, our relationships, or our circumstances.
Even though there is a rebirth in motion, we are not necessarily being called to make huge decisions right now. We are being guided to observe our situations in life and to seek stillness and silence in order to clear our minds.
We are in Libra season, which has themes of indecision and justice. We are pondering what is right and what is fair. It is when you don’t rush yourself or others that questions can finally be answered.
Feeling the connection to the universe, your faith, and your inner being is what will take you in the best direction.
Week 1
The first week of October brings us some good luck and fated opportunities. This could have to do with many different things including but not limited to, romance, money, or an experience. It could come in as a sudden message from another person giving you some sort of an offer. It feels like a lucky break you want to jump on right away.
Advice for us this week is to not waste this opportunitiy. Don’t let any level of inexperience keep you from doing something new that you’ve been dreaming of. If your luck is coming in the form of material abundance, consider your savings and financial goals.
Week 2
In our second week we face some challenges, however, there is potential for a big break through. There may have been some situation in your life that seems fine from the outside but has caused you some trouble and seems unfair at times. You could feel like something has been missing in this area of life. There might be a particular person who seems to be challenging you again and again. This person is kind of an impatient bully who doesn’t play fair due to their ego.

There is the potential for some kind of miscommunication this week that elicits a negative knee-jerk reaction from someone that could ultimately lead to an ending. I don’t see this as entirely bad though. It feels like deep down you’ve been waiting for this situation to end so that you can surrender it and move onto something new.
Advice for us this week is to take our power back and focus on our own peace and healing. Let go and surrender what has been working against you for sometime now. Try not to see this as a loss or failure, but instead a chance for something new to start.
Week 3
This week we continue themes from the last week and are challenged to truly take our power back. The change we’ve been wanting won’t come without acting on the bravery we know we have in order to get what it is we know we really want and deserve.
With the Justice card and the Death card showing up for us, I can tell that this is a major transition and it will rock our world a little bit. There is a big element of cause and effect playing out here but also risk and reward. The power is in our hands to make the change we feel we need.

Advice for us this week is to seek stillness in order to get our minds clear on the issue at hand. Feel inside what is the right thing to do in this situation and for yourself. Consider what type of life you wish to create and what decisions you need to make in order to attain that life. Ultimately, integrity plays a huge role, equality is worth striving towards, and you are amidst a transformation right now.
Week 4
This last week of October can be a frustrating one if we let it be. We may still be feeling conflicted about a situation. We could even be in denial about what we need to do next. This is where we can really start to feel some of the pressure that is causing us to transform and heal.
This pressure can lead us to a feeling of wanting to escape or rebel in an attempt to release stuck emotions. There is a need for freedom that drives your impulses. I don’t recommend recklessness however and I think it’s important to set boundaries with yourself.

Advice is to tap into our inner strength and to sit with our true selves. Get quiet and get vulnerable with yourself. It’s okay to admit when you are wrong or when you don’t know the solution. It’s okay to accept yourself and things the way they are right now.
Remembering the overall themes for the month, now is a time to observe what is going on, to connect with your inner self, and to allow transformation in order for new creation. Your main priority is to stay hopeful and do what you need to do in order to heal and nourish your mind and life.
